Fiat Sedici
Fiat is also planning to sell its 5000 Panda cross four by four models. The news was announced by a Fiat spokesman at a presentation of the cars.
The Fiat Sedici marks a veritable leap in the compact SUV scenario because it is the result of a style and design approach whose distinguishing feature is freedom of choice. The new model is a fusion of different vehicle types: it combines the driving satisfaction and handling features of a compact Fiat with the off-road performance of an SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle). Incidentally, the car’s name says everything about its off-road proclivities: Sedici (sixteen) is what you get when you multiply 4×4 – the code used to identify four-wheel drive vehicles. Within the Suzuki-Fiat industrial project, the styling of Fiat 16 has been jointly done with Italdesign, Giorgetto Giugiaro’s design Company.
At the same time the new Fiat Sedici is also ideal for drivers wanting a car that is compact, agile and safe in city traffic. The new Fiat Sedici measures 411 centimetres in length, 176 in width, 162 in height ( 160.5 cm for the 4×2 ), and 250 cm in wheelbase. The new model offers an improved leisure experience, especially for nature lovers and drivers seeking to satisfy a taste for adventure. This is merit of the car’s all terrain look and its adaptable, on demand four wheel drive system that lets you switch freely between 4×2 and 4×4 drive, further reducing fuel consumption compared to other off road vehicles in the same class.
